Louis Ashbourne Serkis (center) stars in “The Kid Who Would Be King”.

“The Kid Who Would Be King” is a story of a 12-year-old boy named Alex. He was having a basic life, but one day he found two bullies torturing his best friend, and that day is when Alex’s life would change forever.

This story follows the story about the Knights of the Round Table with King Arthur, Merlin, and Morgana, the evil sister of Arthur, as main characters.

The cinematography is very beautiful with the landscapes, but some scenes could be very surprising and intense. There is magic in almost every scene, sometimes it is funny and sometimes it is a little scary. It reminded me of “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings” in some ways.

I enjoyed watching the movie, which tells me that unity and bravery are one of the most important things.

This movie is fit for all audiences, but I would recommend this movie for 4-year-olds and up.
